Recurring Issues - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pokutsoft handles data in connection with Recurring Issues for Jira (the "App"), a Forge app for Atlassian Jira. This policy covers this App specifically; Pokutsoft's other Marketplace apps are covered by their own, substantially similar, policies.

1. Who we are

Pokutsoft develops Forge based Marketplace apps for Atlassian products. Pokutsoft is the vendor of record for this App on the Atlassian Marketplace.

2. What data we process and store

The App runs under Atlassian's "Runs on Atlassian" model: data does not leave the Atlassian cloud, and there is no external egress. In app namespaced Forge storage the App keeps only:

  • Schedules — the recurrence rule, timezone, working calendar settings, and the issue template (summary, labels, sub task titles, due date offset, and any assignee account ids or custom field values you enter), plus run state (last run, next run, run count). Keyed per project.
  • Holiday calendars — a name and a list of dates, entered by an admin or imported from an ICS file that the admin provides.
  • Run history — a capped list (up to 20 entries per schedule) of created issue keys, timestamps and status.
  • Not stored: the App does not store Atlassian account personal data such as email address, username, account id or avatar. (If an admin puts an assignee account id into a template, it is stored only as part of that template.)

3. Writes to Jira

The App creates Jira issues and sub tasks according to your schedules. Scheduled creation runs on an hourly cycle without a user context, so those issues are created by the App. Actions you take in the user interface, including Run now, are performed on your behalf, within your own permissions.

4. AI / LLM usage

The optional plain English schedule parser uses Atlassian's hosted Forge LLMs (Anthropic Claude) API. The text you enter is processed within Atlassian's infrastructure; nothing is sent to any external LLM provider, and your content is not used to train any model.

5. Data retention and deletion

Schedules and holiday calendars persist until you delete them. Run history is capped and rolls over. When the App is uninstalled, Atlassian removes the App's namespaced storage.

6. Sub-processors

  • Atlassian (hosting, the Forge platform, and Forge LLMs). Data remains within Atlassian's infrastructure boundary.

7. Data subject rights (GDPR/KVKK)

Because the App does not store Atlassian account personal data, deletion and correction requests are generally handled through Atlassian directly. For any App specific request, contact us below.
