Gift cards with the right VAT moment
Batches, balance ledger and single or multi-purpose vouchers
Set up gift-card programmes per country, generate cards in batches with unique codes, sell and activate them, and redeem them partly or fully. Every movement is a ledger line. A single-purpose voucher carries VAT when it is issued, a multi-purpose voucher when it is redeemed (Directive 2016/1065); the VAT worksheet adds them up for a period.
Key features
Programmes
Per country: voucher type, VAT rate, default amount, validity in months, top-up, partial use and store credit.
Batches
Generate any number of cards with unique codes, activate them at once and export the codes as CSV.
Balance ledger
Issue, redemption, top-up, refund and expiry are ledger lines; the balance is their sum.
Redeem and top up
Partial or full redemption, never more than the balance; top-up when the programme allows it.
VAT moment
SPV: VAT on issue; MPV: VAT on redemption; base and VAT are computed from the amount including VAT.
VAT worksheet
Totals of SPV and MPV VAT for a period and a CSV of the movements; movements of a programme without a rate are counted apart.
Expiry
A daily job expires cards after their validity and writes off the remaining balance as breakage.
Transfer
A card can be transferred to another customer with a reason.

Questions

No. The module keeps cards, balances and VAT figures; redemption is done from the card.
In which language is the interface?
The module is written in French; English, French and Dutch are shipped.
