Every bank account of a contact is checked when it is entered: IBAN modulo 97, BIC format and country, and for a French IBAN the RIB inside it (bank code, branch code, account number and RIB key). The account shows what is wrong, suggests the BIC from the bank directory for French, Belgian and Dutch banks, and can be made strict so an invalid account cannot be saved. A validator checks or builds a single IBAN, BIC or RIB, and the SEPA pre-flight screens all accounts of a country before a payment run.

BIC from the directory
French, Belgian and Dutch bank codes map to their BIC; the suggested BIC is shown and applied in one click, with a check that the BIC matches the IBAN's bank.
Strict when you want
Tick enforce validation on an account and an invalid IBAN, BIC or RIB cannot be saved.
Validator
Check an IBAN or a BIC, compute or check a RIB key, or build a French IBAN from its RIB.
SEPA pre-flight
Screen all accounts, one country or some partners: total, valid, invalid and pass rate, with the reason per account (IBAN mod-97, BIC format, RIB key).

No. It checks the published check digits and formats locally; it does not contact any bank.
Which countries are covered?
