MEP Install Progress
See installed metres, earned hours and crew productivity per zone and system every day.
For mechanical and electrical contractors who bid labour on installed quantities. Load the budget quantities with the unit hours of your estimate, let foremen enter what they installed and the crew hours each day, and compare earned hours with actual hours before the overrun is too late to fix.
Key features
Zones, systems and activities
Building zones by block and level, MEP systems (ductwork, chilled water, sprinkler, power, lighting, data) and activities with their unit.
Budget matrix with import
Budget quantity and estimated hours per unit for each zone and activity, entered in an editable matrix or imported from a CSV or XLSX take-off.
Daily entries by foremen
Installed quantity, crew size and crew hours per day; confirmed entries can book the hours as a timesheet on the project task.
Earned hours and productivity
Earned hours = installed quantity x unit hours; the productivity factor compares them with actual hours and forecasts the hours to complete.
Warnings and over-budget flags
A warning activity goes to the project manager when a line falls below your threshold; quantities above the budget are flagged with a note.
Heat map, test flags, weekly PDF
Zone by system heat map, pressure test, insulation and energise flags per zone and system, and a weekly progress and productivity PDF.
Use cases
- ✓ A ductwork contractor compares installed metres per floor with the estimate every evening.
- ✓ An electrical contractor sees that cable tray in one zone runs at 0.7 of the estimated productivity and acts the same week.
- ✓ A project manager sends the weekly progress and productivity PDF to the main contractor.
How it works
- Set up zones, systems and activities
- Import or enter the budget quantities
- Foremen confirm daily quantities and hours
- Follow productivity and print the weekly report

Why choose MEP Install Progress
- Earned hours make labour progress comparable across ductwork, pipework and cabling.
- Warnings come as activities to the project manager, not as a report nobody reads.
- Foremen enter one line per day; the rest is calculated.
