Room requirements, design values and compliance in one sheet per room
Healthcare, education and laboratory projects depend on detailed room requirements that are hard to check against the design in spreadsheets. Room Data Sheets keeps the requirements per room type and room, checks the design values against them and records the client sign-off per revision.
Key Features
Requirement parameters
Area, height, finishes, lighting level, power and data outlets, temperature range, air changes, water, gases and security, each with its rule: at least, at most, between, text or required.
Room type templates
Requirement and equipment templates per room type; rooms inherit them automatically.
Rooms with overrides
Rooms (number, name, level, department) follow the template; a value changed on a room is kept as an override when the template changes and can be reset to the template.
Compliance check
Design values per room are checked against the requirements: a room with fewer outlets than required is non-compliant; missing design values make it incomplete.
Equipment lists
Equipment per room, client supplied, contractor supplied or relocated, with quantities, installer and services needed, and an equipment schedule per project.
Client sign-off
Sign-off per revision records the signatory and freezes the data sheet until a new revision is opened; the changes since the previous sign-off are listed.
Bulk update
Change a requirement for all rooms of a type in one step, with or without replacing room overrides; signed-off rooms stay unchanged.
Imports and reports
Import rooms from a room schedule and design values from the design model (CSV); room data sheet PDF per room and compliance summary PDF.
