HMRC VAT grouping lets several companies submit a single VAT return under one group VAT number. Odoo has nothing native for this, so finance teams consolidate VAT group returns by hand in spreadsheets every period. This module builds the consolidated 9-box UK VAT return automatically from real posted journal items, disregards intra-group supplies, and gives you a full drill-down behind every box.

VAT Group Definition

Define a VAT group with a representative member and its member companies, all under one group VAT registration.

Pull From Real Data

Each member company's tax figures for the period are pulled straight from posted journal items using the standard tax tags and tax report lines — no manual entry.

Intra-Group Exclusion

Transactions between member companies are automatically excluded, because intra-group supplies are disregarded for VAT under group rules. Partner detection is configurable.

Consolidated 9-Box Return

Produces the full UK VAT return (boxes 1–9) for the group, computed from the combined member data.

Per-Company Drill-Down
