Trial balance (Summen- und Saldenliste) per period, grouped by account class
Opening balance, period and year-to-date debit and credit, balance with side per account, totals with a balance check, prior-year comparison, PDF and CSV
Choose the period, the start of the business year and the filters. The module reads the posted journal items of the company and builds one line per account: opening balance at the start of the business year, debit and credit of the period, debit and credit of the year to date and the balance with its side. Lines are grouped by account class (first digit of the account code) and by balance sheet or profit and loss group. A short check shows whether the shown accounts and the whole ledger balance; accounts without a number are listed as data quality notes.
Key features
Period and business year
Period from and to and the start of the business year, prefilled from the company's fiscal year settings.
Filters
Account code from and to, account type and an option to hide accounts without movement or balance; the active filter is printed with the result.
Figures per account
Opening balance, debit and credit of the period, year-to-date debit and credit, balance and side (debit or credit).
Opening balance
Balance sheet accounts carry their balance from before the business year; the result of earlier years is shown on the profit carried forward.
Grouping
Account class from the first digit of the code and a balance sheet or profit and loss group per account; the chart label (SKR03, SKR04, other) is for display.
Checks
Shown accounts balanced, whole ledger of the period balanced, number of hidden zero accounts and data quality notes.
Prior year
Optional comparison with the balance of the same period one year earlier and the change.
Output
Drill-down from a line to its journal items, PDF report and CSV export.
