French, Belgian and Dutch number, date and amount formats
One profile per country for thousands and decimal marks, euro sign, date order and amounts in words, for QWeb reports and CSV
Four profiles ship ready: France (1 234 567,89 EUR sign after, DD/MM/YYYY), Belgium in French and in Dutch (1.234.567,89) and the Netherlands (sign before, DD-MM-YYYY). A profile formats integers, decimals, amounts, percentages and dates, writes amounts in French or Dutch words (also cheque style with the cents as a fraction), parses a localized string back and checks the round trip. QWeb widgets apply the default profile in your reports, templates reuse a profile with prefix, suffix and decimals, and a wizard exports a column of values as CSV.
Key features
Four country profiles
Thousands mark, decimal mark, grouping, euro sign before or after, date pattern and negative style per profile; one default.
Amounts in words
French or Dutch words with your currency and cents labels, or cheque style with the cents as a fraction.
Half-up rounding
Figures and words round the same way, so a cheque never shows two different cents.
Parse and round trip
A localized string from an imported file is turned back into a number; the test wizard says if formatting is loss-free.
QWeb widgets
locale_float, locale_monetary, locale_date and locale_words for your report templates.
Templates
Named formats with profile, kind, decimals, prefix, suffix and upper case.
No silent default
When no profile is marked as default, the module asks you to choose one instead of picking another country's format.
CSV export and log
Export a list of values with integer, number, money and words columns; every preview is logged.
